Amazonia
Amazonia is a humid equatorial forest located in South America. It accounts for more than half of all the planet’s rainforests. It is also the largest and the richest species in the Earth. Due to the ability of trees to produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, densely forested Amazon is called the green lungs of the world.
The Amazon exhibition is located on the ground floor of the Gdynia Aquarium building and presents extremely biodiverse exosystem. There are four large reservoirs called paludars. These are specially prepared aquaterrariums adapted for breeding animals coming from places with high humidity.
The most characteristic inhabitants of this room are green anacondas, i.e. one of the largest snakes in the world, belonging to the family of constrictors.

To find the most convenient and fastest way to reach Gdynia Aquarium by means of public transport, we recommend to use the jakdojade.pl/trojmiasto/ website. The nearest trolleybus stop to the Aquarium is “Przystań Żeglugi 02”.

Young Sea’s Explorer Club
The Young Sea’s Explorer Club brings together children and young people up to the age of 16 who are interested in the beauty of the underwater world. Membership in the Club gives you the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience, participate in dedicated educational games and a unique opportunity to get to know the work of aquarist.

Electronic guides
Zachęcamy do korzystania z elektronicznego systemu oprowadzania gości w Akwarium Gdyńskim, czyli naszych elektronicznych przewodników. Tzw. eGuide’a można wypożyczyć na I piętrze Akwarium Gdyńskiego, w godzinach otwarcia Akwarium Gdyńskiego.
eGuide to multimedialny przewodnik, który dostarcza szczegółowych informacji na temat naszych zwierząt. Przygotowaliśmy ścieżki zarówno dla dorosłych użytkowników, którzy mogą posłuchać m.in. głosu Krystyny Czubówny, jak i dla najmłodszych, dla których ścieżka jest sformułowana w postaci bajek, z zadaniami aktywizującymi małego słuchacza. Przewodnika można posłuchać w trzech językach: polskim, angielskim oraz niemieckim.
